I just snagged a pretty good running Hamilton movement and dial and was curious what vintage Rollie this might be good for. I believe it equates to an ETA 2451...

The 1530 and 1560 were 18,000 bph as were the 1030/1060 movts. So you could build an early - pre 1965- sub or other vintage with it. The 1570 and 1520 came out around 1965 and were 19.8K bph.

early 5513/2

5510, 5508

early DJ- 1600, 1601

1500 Date- early again

6536/or 8 sub

I guess I need me an old DJ dial. Thanks, M!

That 'Tiger' case from the guy on Ebay, and the same as Raffelstime's no crownguard case, would make a nice 6204. And Ken has the 6mm Brevet crown too.

Joey, do you happen to know what size dial fit the tiger case? The yuki 6200 dial is 26.9 and every no crown guard sub case I've found so far... take a much bigger dial..like 29-30mm. I think the raffles cases are like that.

This movement would be cool on a project like this :)

If this "Tiger case" is from onlinestorehk then it takes a big dial...

Yep, I think it is the same case, both from Hong Kong. Ken refers it as a 'Tiger' once or twice on his site, Ebay's 'onlinestorehk' calls it a 'Tiger'. Like the Silix case, they do take the larger 28mm dial.
