I saw a brown dial version once and was really taken with it... the reason I ask is the brown dial was so variable in different lights... it could even look slateish in some angles.. as I recall I think it was Ti cased. You can check out the review I did of the watch here The watch dial is a slate gray and the case is a brushed stainless steel with a sand blasted titanium bezel. Pretty great looking case IMO.
