Jkay Posted August 29, 2012 Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 A modern Swiss movement has: 3 release notches in the incabloc spring mounting block - China clone does not - note that if you do not know what you are looking at, it is easy to assume I am talking about the curvy spring in this photo. In addition to only having a single balance shock spring release notch, they have nickel plating and pearlage. (circular decorations) You can clearly see the single notch and pearlage here. Notice that unlike Guangzhou company clones, these have a correct curve in the baseplate casting.
