ilovethiscity
Amazing I am glad you posted this as this is exactly what I am hoping for need to get the Gen crystal! Does the crystal make an amazing difference?? I am definitely getting one for mine.
alberto.86
Yes, the difference! However, the crystal TC is great!
rollout
Sorry to resurrect an old thread. This Mark VI LV is absolutely flawless. It has the correct "3 tick" swiss made marking on the dial and pointed "40" on the bezel for this series. Bravo!
Erict719
Tc dial is the best upgrade for less money spend then the gen dial. It's so hard to find one now a day. I have been looking for black sub version so long

chibiunko
Great looking 16610LV. Only tell that it's a rep is the fat 6 / 9 o'clock marker on the dial. Should be a thinner marker. Edited March 13, 2013 by chibiunko
alberto.86
better than this is the only genuine dial!
chibiunko
The thing that gets me is that, the dial is the first thing most eyes go to when looking at a watch. So if there are any glaring imperfections on the dial, it's the first tell. Gen dial is not the only option. BP Ceramic Sub has a near perfect dial for much much cheaper. You just need to source a BP Ceramic 116610 sub dial and change the lume color from blue to green.
alberto.86
I am convinced that the dial BP and TC are the same manufacturer but with different light. must pay attention to the effect "light" in the picture. I was able to compare this with a dial BP and are absolutely identical my friend.
chibiunko
Look at the fat 9 and 6 o'clock marker on TC and on BP. BP is skinny and long (like Gen), TC is fat and Short.
chibiunko
Also Look at the "Swiss Made" On the BP it spans 2 spaces On the TC it spans 1 space They are def not the same dial.
chibiunko
Oops I made a mistake. BP Dial is a Mark I Dial TC/BK is a Mark V Dial
alberto.86
That's right, BP is fat four. is your book? could you tell me the title?
alberto.86
however, you are right friend, it would take the glasses of BP. However, becomes a complex and burdensome task. For now it's fine
Ueno
What case did you use? looks like the crown position is bit low...
fidhle007
Only tell that it's a rep is the fat 6 / 9 o'clock marker on the dial. Should be a thinner marker. And that silly low crown position... Why did it take until now to figure that out and even then, why is no other case besides TC, Sean and SA3135 correcting this??
alberto.86
the case is BK, and the crown is too low. As for the dial, the glasses have a minimal difference compared with the dial of BP. Please install the best solution would be an original dial. Found. Maybe TC will update its quadrants, sooner or later .. Edited March 14, 2013 by alberto.
