scropper
Been around a little while now so thought I'd put together some pics of where I've got to. Please bear in mind they were taken on top of a mannequin whilst free-holding an iPhone with no special lighting (in other words; they're not amazing!)... Modded Black Themes on bracelet (AR crystal and cyclops, re-lume, movement upgrade/service, waterproofing...) - this one is going to the Zorro spa tomorrow for a bezel re-brush, then it's done: Santos XL on OEM tan gator - the rep strap is rubbish but the watch is da bomb (just be careful to check the crown fitment on the QC pics): Chronofighter awaiting a tan ostrich creation from Serge - picked this up as one of Toro's specials on a whim, was surprised at the quality: Big Bang Black Magic on rubber - think its a V1, thinking of getting a gen gummy for it: Portofino on gen croc - everyone needs a dress watch, with an improved strap this one rocks: 111 on OEM black calf - nothing that hasn't already been said about this one, its awesome: 176 on OEM black, erm, tubey leather - my first ti pam, really a pleasure to wear: Old-school 'ultimate' 199 - was once my treasured casual piece but now unworn, either going to have this modded or flog it: 237 on OEM burgundy gator - originally had on black calf but the busy dial needed a contrast: 243 on rubber - incredible quality, am thinking of getting an ammo/egyptian for it, but for now it's the gym watch: 288 on OEM tan gator - every bit as good as people say, this piece rocks: 292 on OEM black calf - great piece but the case scratches easy (take care): 328 on bracelet - I wasn't sure I'd like this but it's fantastic, makes me want a 351 too: 390 on rep ass - the watch and strap are great (I used a bit of sesame oil to darken it): 1655 slow-beat on bracelet - originally bought from Josh to send for modding but it is just too small for me so it sits in the box sulking: 5513 from the pbdad shop (gen crown/tube, re-lumed, drilled lugs, re-shaped case/CGs, waterproofed, etc) on bracelet - perfect beach piece: TT Santos Chrono, 351, RG Nautilus and hopefully a ROO Diver also en route... Any questions or comments gratefully received - hope you like them half as much as I do! S
The Dude
Nice collection Scropper, just about to order a Santos XL myself. Tried on the gen at the local AD a few weeks back and fell in love<
scropper
Nice collection Scropper, just about to order a Santos XL myself. Tried on the gen at the local AD a few weeks back and fell in love< Thanks Dude. Yep, the Santos is great, have had it side-by-side with a gen and the only difference is the bezel screws are ever-so-slightly rounded on the rep. Wore it today: The improved strap is a must. scropper
Ouch... Indeed - but the missus' bracelet (reason for being in there!) caused much more pain! Just seen your collection shots - fantastic!

I love the 1655, I really do but yep, too small for a Pam/AP fiend - 40mm or go home... Shame really as the pics I see of them on the forums keep me holding on to it thinking 'maybe one day!'. The Dude
Indeed - but the missus' bracelet (reason for being in there!) caused much more pain! Just seen your collection shots - fantastic! Thank you sir. Funny, the reason I was in the AD was the missus wanted to look at love bracelets. I ended up buying her one from Ken B for about 1% of the cost of a gen.
