I'm thinking about building a no date sub.

Can any tell me if a gen no date dial fit into a TC case.

Here is the part list of my hopefully specs IF I can source the parts

a gen no date dial - acquired
a gen insert - acquired
gen LEC AR crystal  - yet to find
gen crown -yet to find
gen 3035 hands -yet to find
a TC case - ordered
a yuki 3135 movement -ordered

it will fit a 5513 case, but not a 16610.

i always wondered if TC could just make a run of 16610 dials with no date window and a lume marker at 3 oclock. then off to jmb for some lug holes and thats as close as youre going to get (although it will be a slightly larger sub than an original no date)

The project is a no go. I found this info on a gen forum

......................... Sub................. Sub Date
Case Size ........ 39.5mm................ 39.5mm
Case inc Crown . 43.50mm..............43.60mm (difference could be possible to a higher seated tube)
Bezel Diameter... 39.5mm ...............40.00mm
Thickness.......... 12.20mm ..............12.55mm (Sub Date middle case is thicker as is the bezel)
Crystal Diameter..29mm ...................30mm
Visible Dial..........25.5mm..................26.5mm
Lugs.................Holes..................No Holes (since ~2001)
Hand length.....................same.......
