Looks like they updated the dial color to be closer to gen, and also the straps. The "forged carbon" is still disguised steel, however. I am looking to get one, but am undecided. Disclaimer: I am not working for puretime or am I associated in any way with them. I have been looking out for updates to this model since it first got released, thats all. Puretime just put it up March 14 I think! Strange that they would get the forged carbon case and still not correct the red color . . of the two, correcting the color seems a lot easier! Are the rep factories making them or is Angus buying from the forum member who makes his own cases? I do have to agree that the dial is different but not better. Angus is indeed supplied from the forum member that produces FC cases !! as for the dial i will do compare with the v2 against my Z-mod dial .. which i know is closer to the gen then V2!! Ss far as I know only Angus (and Toro??) are getting true carbon cases. They come in very limited supply from a forum member rather than the factories - ergo more than double the price.
