DIY: How to make a frankenjust

Recommended Posts

Magnificent DIY. How good was it?...well, it made a complete fumble-fingered novice such as myself actually imagine I could do it!

Of course I can't....but you made it seem that easy!

A DJII SS, Stick marker, fluted bezel and white dial with a SS Jublilee is what I need....I'm thinking 2824-2...maybe one of TCs'...Hmmm....

Thank you so much for putting this together.

Sure you can. The concepts are very similar from watch to watch. It just takes some knowledge, a little practice, and the right tools. You learn a lot by just reading on the forum. I bought myself a Bagelsport sub on eBay for like $25 and practiced taking it apart and putting it back together, over and over again. See the original post for links to buy tools.

Good luck!

Wow, awesome DIY article.  Being a noob really helps see the whole process.  I have been wavering on whether I could actually do my own build and this has helped me see with the correct tools and instructions, I "may" be able to.  Thank you for spending the time and effort to put this together and share it.  Oh and beautiful time piece, love that dial.

ST sells good aftermarket spring bars. And you can find others on eBay. Best of luck with your build!
