Insert for Gold Daytona 6263

The gold plated bezel on the DW Gold 6263 has the bad DW insert, the WatchNY insert is much better, but no bezel available in GP. Is it possible to remove the plastic insert from one of these and replace it in the DW GP'ed Bezel? Anyone have any suggestions, other sources of GP bezels with a good insert, other than a "second mortgage on the house" genuine? Maybe someone needs to figure out how to GB the WatchNY bezels!

You can swap them but dw glues his in.. I tried to remove it and couldn't. If you find a way to do it it can be swapped with another.

I have a bunch of DW 6263 bezels on which the inserts are NOT glued, and are easily removed. Unfortunately, they're all steel.

Well then maybe he will get lucky and it won't be glued!? Either way it can be removed and a better one can be put in so no problem there

I have never seen the plastic part of the insert sold separately. Rolex never sold them that way either. I think you may have to bite the bullet & buy another bezel & perform the insertectomy yourself.

I'm on hold right now, DW is not taking Paypal still, also he is out of dials, no gold or black dials for the gold 6263. At some point In time, he will probably get more in, but in the meantime, I bought a 6265 case set from another forum member and a ETA tricompax to go in it, so that one takes precedence now. I'm probably going to change the metal bezel on the 6265 to a watchNY plastic bezel insert and make it into a 6263.
