He has spoken to Reg's family and they explained he hit his head hard on the pavement after a fall.... He is making a recovery and will be allowed out of ICU tomorrow if the bleeding dries up... It's not the falling off that hurts or breaks (much), it's coming to an abrupt halt as you say hello to a tree/car/van/sign post/wall/kerb or even a muddy verge in my case.
