"His grandfather was a watchmaker and he has a big load of rolex vintage parts since 2011."

BS? It can't be!

My 4th cousin in Guangzhou named 'Paul' left me a big load of rolex vintage parts too.

Had another 4th cousin in HK with the initials 'DW' who also had a stash of rolex vintage parts but he dropped under the radar.

Already done, same BS that he wrote on the item description : His grandfather was a watchmaker and he has a big load of rolex vintage parts since 2011.... Basically a scam..

His grandfather  :bangin:  :bangin:   That sounds like BS agreed.

These cases have been discussed here before. They are rep cases. They look very good, but not gen, he has done a great job with photos and staging. I have seen major red flags about purchasing watchs/watch parts from Italy. He has great feedback, which was at 0 about 2 months ago. Guess you'd have to just hold your nose and jump in.

Yep and I still have a 'birthday' card he sent me.

Plus a couple 'Ultimate! Submariners' from his Crazy Sale!

Paul was all right.  :1a:

"Let me guess... They both claimed to have the best sub right ?"

No doubt about it.

...but that was inside information back then, you had to know 'The Guy'.

I wonder if he has a Vietnamese connection!

So what is the tell on these cases that they are rep?

1.  The engravings are wrong.  Look at the I in REGISTERED and DESIGN.  Look at the A in STAINLESS.  Look at the 6 and 8.

2.  There is no End Link wear evident between the lugs.

3.  All his cases have the exact same font and no wear BUT have artificial vintage stains on them.

Left are the Cases Sold by RRTVRN.  Right are Gen Cases
