1st Purchase Lost to Customs? Advice Please

My 1st Purchase of 3 items from TT thanks to this forum and all has gone well so far untill I read the below entries when I checked EMS Tracking:

 

 

2014-01-21 United States of America ISC Chicago Il     Handed over to Customs

 

 

 

So my natural questions are:

 

Is this normal?

If I just sit patiently, at what point will I know for sure that my items are really lost to customs?

Do I need to be worried about legal consequences?

 

I have searched other discussions and found similar scenarios, but none matching this. Please comment if this is something familiar to your personal experiance.

You better run !!!!!

Anything from overseas must go through customs. Wait a day and see if it gets updated. If it doesn't wait another day. Sometimes the watches get delivered even before usps updates their site.

Just sit down and relax. Enjoy some nice food and cool beverages and suddenly the goodies will arrive at your doorstep As mentioned by triplehd, everything must go through customs, so this is a usual entry in tracking

What they said, has to go they customs before can enter the US. It will likely show up in your mailbox before the tracking updates.
