Looking at a Yachtmaster 116622 Blue Dial

Hey guys,

 

has anyone bought the "new" blue dialed YM in Angus' Site? The blue dial really got me and I was wondering if you have some pictures..

 

Looks pretty good imho. Price tag is alright but I'd like to see some pictures in the sunlight for example

I've had a gen ym blue dial, quite a difference from the reps.

I've had the rep, and love it. It's not perfect, but it's still a very nice piece. I'll see if I can find the pix for ya...

I also happen to be wearing a gen YM with rep dial and mvmnt in it at this moment, its a total mish mosh i threw together to give me something to wear that was a little different. Its a sub dial, just cause i had it laying around. The case and bracelet being gen are super nice (i did brush the polished mid links tho, dont like the "bling", and can repolish them if ever needed) but it gets the job done for a beater that i can get dirty while paving driveways....

Its super crappy dial etc, bit i dont care im not truing to fool anyone nor impress anyone. Just wanted a ticking beater to wear at work. So i plopped the Rep 21j Sub guts into the gen YM, terrible combination, but again, i dont care really...

Why butcher a gen?  Doesn't make sense…  Buy a cheap YM and go to town…

I agree, not sure who he's trying to fool?  That whole watch is a joke.
