It sure looks like the only way to go with a 1016 build is this case, his bezel, and then find a good dial and handset for your movement of choice. jmb Posted February 7, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2015 I'm glad this attempt has met with the collective's approval! Serial number requests can be accommodated and although my "purpose in life" (thanks, M) has been a decent explorer I can probably do other models as long as I can find some examples. I do foresee problems making some of the vintage engraving looking hand done, though... This case is not perfect but I think it's as close as I can get without making it cost too much. It would be really nice to have a nice $20k CNC machining center that would take a chunk of 316 and turn out a finished case with the touch of a button!
