All of the dealer links lead to dead pages

Maybe I just don't know where to go as I am relatively inexperienced in this forum but when I go to the dealer links every single one of them leads to a page that has been [censored] down. I think we either need to update the URLs or change that section all together.

The dealers all have to change websites on a fairly regular basis. After all, they are selling counterfeit goods on websites that are open to everyone, including the lawyers that represent luxury brands who are fighting counterfeiters.

Keeping up with all the changes is probably not a task that our volunteer administrators would want to take on. I realize it's sometimes frustrating to try to ferret out the correct websites, but some of that may be done on purpose by the dealers. Making it really easy for you also makes it easy for the guys that are trying to put them out of business.

ethanderson, I agree with you.  I think there's only about 6 Trusted Dealers listed on this forum with a website.  How hard can it be to update the information when a change occurs?  Here's the latest website addresses I've puled together for RWG trusted dealers.  As of a few minutes ago all the addresses were working with the exception of the one for King Watches, currently undergoing maintenance.

I maintain an app that allows you to find any dealer or modder from any of the forums, see my sig for where to get it from.

 

Just checked all the rep dealers here and they all appear to be working (apart from one - KingWatch, which says it's down for maintenance and has a link to a dodgy looking free anti virus checker that I've just disabled...)

I recommend all you guys write to the site owners and ask them to login here and update their links.

We give them visibility here with almost nothing in return, and ask them to merely keep their links current. Enough pressure from the customer base ought to accomplish that.
