Recommended Posts

Sorry for the bad pictures.
Pictures were taken with a crappy cellphone camera.
I will do a better photoshoot the next time

Based on my observation, the rep has these flaws:

The RG color is different with the gen being more yellow than the rep. Rep has pinkish color while gen is yellowish.
The tapestry dial is different also. With the gen looks like it has a bigger squares. Maybe because the gen has more depth.
The bezel as mentioned is glossier on the rep. The gen has matte finish. The rep does look glossy on certain angle or lighting.
The DW font is way bigger on the gen. The DW font on the gen almost fill out the whole DW cutout.
The Bezel screws on the rep are bigger than gen.
And the usual AP Flaws such as DW position and crown position (rep crown is higher than the gen; the gen DW is more on the left compared to rep)
One more little thing to add, the screw for the strap and on the body are black on the gen, and they are silver on the rep.
Crystal is very very good. no need to add any AR. i would say the rep is on par with the gen.

Given the price of the gen, I have to say that I am very very please with the rep.
I don't think there is much to do in term of modding to the rep. The only feasible mod will be to color the screws black with a marker. lol

So get it if you like a RG watch. This watch is a stunner.
It oozes luxury but sporty at the same time.
I am wearing it with a rubber strap, so it actually can be worn daily without looking too "in your face"

I will take a better pics next time.
For now, I think these will suffice.
Cheers
