Folks, this is a quick review of Omega Seamaster Pro Chrono Co-Axial. This is an attempt to replicate Omega Ref No. 212.30.44.50.03.001. I will cover the most essential details and list my general impressions of this watch.

Specs:

  • Ordered Joshu@perfect clones for $378. (search for OM300M-305 @ perfectclones). The watch was released on May 28th 2015.
  • Rejected the first set of QC pics. The pearl was not centered and there was a minor bezel misalignment. TD insisted that it was the camera angle, but I did not want to take a chance. 2nd set of QC looked good. Received it in 10 days.
  • Movement is Nickle plated A-7750, 28800 bph, 25J with omega markings. Case diameter is 44mm.

Impressions:

  • Bezel: is ceramic. The etching is sharp and with naked eye I am not able to find any apparent flaws. I have never seen the gen, but it looks like the blue color is spot on (spent a lot of time online comparing pics). Bezel rotates fine and has just the right amount of firmness.
  • Dial: is nice and crisp with all the subdials at the correct positions. The hour and minute marker seem to have the right proportion and size. Chrono hour and minute markers are all good.
  • Bracelet: is nicely done and has a good feel and weight to it. The clasp however is of inferior quality. The inside part has slightly sharper edges (I may use 600 grit paper to fix them). The locking mechanism feels secure and sturdy.
  • AR: is absolutely  beautiful.
  • Caseback: is breathtaking. The engraving is sharp and has a gen feel to it. To an untrained eye it would pass as a genuine. The wave pattern is subtle (just like gen).
  • The watch has kept good time so far (48 hrs). The chrono pushers work and reset fine. The He-vlave crown also has the correct engraving.
  • Lume: is decent. The lume brightness fades quickly, but lingers on for good amount of time per replica standard(> 30 mins).

Overall, this is a very good (not excellent) attempt. Maker is claiming that the external dimensions are 1:1. I don't feel like there would ever be an ultimate replica of this, so this is as good as it gets.

Let me know if you any specific questions. Pics are as follows with black and white background.

Stunning watch, great review.

You know... my oldest surviving rep is this Omega SMP that I got from Eddie Lee back in 2006. I wear it every week and it's working like a charm.

I think the old style is tough to beat but this new black is just as nice. Maybe the AR makes it even nicer (old gen didn't have AR, either).

Thanks for sharing. I love it.

By-Tor that SMP chrono looks amazing. You have had it since 2006, have been wearing every week and it keeps good time. Has to be a rep record of some kind! :)

I don't know. The "new" A7750 is very reliable movement. I never had one single problem with A7750 watches and I've owned plenty. I have no doubts that my SMP will run another 10 years flawlessly. It doesn't show any signs of aging, keeps great time +/-2 seconds a day, etc. "Oldest surviving" meant that it's among the few reps that I kept for good. Most were traded. I never owned a high beat 7750 rep that failed me - or gave me any problems whatsoever.

Considering that these are "cheap Chinese knockoffs" I'd say they're pretty good. MUCH better quality than crappy Invictas, Alphas and that stuff.

They hit the nail on the head with this classic SMP design.

I have genuine Bond Seamaster and that almost perfect rep chrono. Great combo and both are watches that you never get tired of.

Much nicer than say, PO chrono.

Are these Classic SMP chrono's still available? By-Tor I agree completely with you on alphas and invictas. They feel cheap; bracelet feels as light as an Aluminium foil.

I almost bought one from puretime, I rejected the first pics. And ended up paying more but getting a similar one to what you got

But I still think they may have the older style model, after not having it for a long while.
