Movement upgrade from a 2813

Recommended Posts

I have bought quite a few reps in a short period of time.  Lots of fun!!    How easy is it for me to upgrade the ones that have 2813 movements to 2836 eta clones?  Is it straight forward?  Where do I buy the new movements?

You'll need a new set of hands, and will have to cut the dial feet. Also, if the watch has a datewheel, you'll have to replace that too.

Depending on the rep, you may also have to replace the movement ring.

So if I really like it leave it alone or put it on my list and buy another already with the 2836 in it!!!!  I think a healthy diet of a watch a month is healthy!!!

on the same note, if a 2813 dies, is it as simple as finding another 2813 movement and having a watchsmith replace it?
