modified superocean 44

So, I currently own two superoceans, a nice 42mm with yellow trim, I love it but it is a bit on the small side for my taste.  I also own a heritage 46mm, and I love the look but it is actually a bit on the big side, wearable but slighly big.  So I am thinking a superocean 44, but I would like it to look a bit more like the 46 without the CG.  Does it seem feasable to shave off the CG and make it look like a 46?  Any reason not to?

I honestly think you would still feel the same about the size if you did...

IMHO I think what your seeing or feeling regarding the size is more about the way the watch design works... the SO 44 has a smaller dial and bigger case etc whereas the Heritage has a thinner case but bigger dial and smaller bezel...

Hopefully that makes sense but you find it with any watch that has either a small dial or big inner rehaut... you can get a 42mm watch like say an IWC which is more or less all dial on the wrist and so looks and feels bigger or you can get something like the SO44 that has a deeper and smaller dial and big thick case...

I honestly think you would feel exactly the same way even if you shaved the CG... afterall in real terms we are only talking about a few mm...

So I would say no dont waste your time... the design is what i think is effecting your 'feel' more for these watches rather than the actual size differences...
