1675 with jubilee - advice

The older GMT's are hard to replicate accurately, and most of the reps from dealers are not very close. One big tell, which people who are familiar with 1675's can see are the crown/ crown guards. The 1675 uses a 5.3mm crown which is pretty small. The crown guards are designed for that crown. The reps use 6mm crowns with crown guards to match. That crown is noticeably bigger. If you install a correct 5.3mm crown there is a pretty big gap between the crown and crown guards

Other tells as well, depth of case, insert, dial, hands, etc.

there have been some really nice 1675's built but it's not and easy one to do correctly.

Here is my genuine 16750, compare it to the rep models and you can see the differences.
