CY0811
Does anyone know (based on previous data or experience) if these movements are easily fixed after a hard drop on tile? Everyting looks fine but obviously there was some internal damage.
ogladio
Bummer! So all jewels still in place? Mainspring looks ok? Guess it could be anything and hard to know without opening up. I'd let a watchmaker look at it, if it hasn't been serviced before now might be a good time.

ogladio
Anyone? Could sending back to Vac be an option?
CY0811
He said he can replace the movement but not fix it....that would be the last option
unreformed66
There's really no good way to diagnose a watch long distance. There are so many things that it could be from a broken balance staff or a broken pinion somewhere to a balance jewel retaining spring being popped. The good thing is that these movements are easy to work on and parts are not hard to find.
