cavi Posted September 6, 2016 Report Share Posted September 6, 2016 So I went to Vegas over the weekend, and while going through one of the casinos I spotted the Rolex dealer and the Omega dealer. So I had to visit, even though my wife and I were both wearing Omega Reps!!! Decent looking reps, I figured that: they are good reps and the sales people really would only spot them if for some reason they actually held the watch. Second, honestly wha would they do? Think of how many people are actually out there wearing reps thinking they are legit. Tackle me? I think not, why would they risk a scandal and lose a potential scandal!!! Just because the folks at the AD didn't say anything doesn't necessarily mean they didn't know. Another thing, there is a difference between you, who knows better and knows that your watches are reps and the guy who buys a watch off eBay that was sold as a genuine. What you did is certainly not as bad as going on a genuine forum and posting photos, but why take a chance on being embarrassed by being called out. If I happen to be wearing a rep put it in my back pocket as I am walking in make sure security guy and or workers see me do it , then I walk up tocounter ready to try on a watch without them seeing my rep, on way out I slip it back on as I hit the door. Not that it matters at this point, I thought about removing my watch but was actually more worried about someone seeing the buldge of a watch in my pocket and stopping me, since I was just looking and did not plan on trying one on, I was not sure...
