Hands for an LV submariner

Should the LV always have maxi hands? I've looked at some pictures where the hands are not the larger size. Was this done from the factory?

Im assuming you are refering to the 16610LV. As of my knowledge it should always have maxi hands with green lume.

Thanks-green lume or the newer chromolite lume? I was under the impression that it should be green but was told this morning it should be the newer chromolite. I don't think this is correct.

Yes - green superluminova. They didn't use the blue until the went to ceramic subs.

No. Chromalite lume is the "blueish" lume that the newer submariner such as 116610LV uses. 16610LV should have a maxi dial and maxi hands with green lume (superluminova?). If someone is offering you anything else i would recommend you to stay away.
