Gentlemen,

First of all I wanted to thank all the members of this forum for sharing their knowledge and experience. I always had my questions answered here and always received valuable information that helped me build my dream time pieces.  I have been a member here for several years and it was always fun to read your posts and knowledge exchange.

Thanks to this forum, I have finally completed my long lasting projects and wanted to share with you some pictures. Special thanks to SSteel, Kenny and Whoopy for helping me with these time pieces.

In the course of building these watches I have realized a few important points for the newbies: 1. These things are never perfect but they are fun!, 2. you wont get to build anything until you have waisted a few cases, fractured a dozen of plexies and ruined some dials among other things. 3. by the time you get to the desired results you will think that you could have bought one genuine piece, - and it is true, but hey, this is just more fun!

Enough talking, lets get to my imperfect pieces. Sorry if photos are not perfect, can do more if anyone is interested.

Hmm. There are several sources and some come and go. You can often find them on eBay, probably the most straight forward source. A tell tale is the phrase "Swiss ink" in the description, whatever the hell that is.

There is Minh, who has very nice Daytona dials, but isn't the easiest to communicate with

Phong and Jensen are able to get stuff from Vietman, their good stuff is very good, but some of their standard dials don't cut it in my opinion.
