Then once I got myself a WM9 Submariner I suddenly 'got it'...I love most of the Rolex models now. Funny I got my off a dead man too, this watch collecting business is more dangerous than it seems! This was my first rep, back from 2008 v3 Euromariner from Eurotimez off this forum back in the day when I was a 1st year medical student. I thought I would buy the gen version as soon as I had the $$$ Well, almost 10 years later, and though I have plenty of $$$ now, this is by far my most favorite and special watch...no desire to by a gen. I enjoy wearing it and looking at it with pride for at all the time I spent modding this watch, sanding the retaining ring to fit a gen bezel insert, drilling the case for a gen tube, getting the gen crown to fit the DG stem, drilling the lug holes, making the chamfers, etc Here is the first pics when I first got it before she got few upgrades over the years like the flat S WM9 dial and TC hands and a vac relume Edited August 19, 2017 by CharlieUK 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
