Would you buy an aged version if a newer rep?

Tough to consolidate this into a catchy title, but:

 

I picked up a GMT Master II Pepsi on M2M and it's just a little too shiny. I love the look of aged watches, so I thought I'd try cooking the dial and bleaching the bezel insert to tone it down.

 

Inevitably I'll get bored with the watch, because that's my main affliction, and will want to sell it. And so the question-

 

Given the watch is the Master II, would you be less interested in it if it's "vintaged" a bit? Cheers!
