From a top view the watch looks chubby and plump for me. And the 15 is not centered properly on the rider tab. Definitely not a super rep. Better alternative would be GF‘s Colt 44 A17388. It‘s manufactured by an unknown maker. IMO it‘s just too expensive for the overall look and feel. At exactly the same pricepoint you can get a ZF Blackbay and that‘s a super rep. BTW: I know the gen of this Colt replica. The gen is a wonderful timeless and elegant watch. You can find it in good condition around 1600-1900€. It‘s worth saving for it instead of getting the rep. The rep looks like a parody for me. The bezel diameter is too small and/or the case diameter is too big. So the proportions are blurred. Unfortunately this flaw cannot be changed. kernow Posted June 18, 2018 Report Share Posted June 18, 2018 It’s about value for money and that’s perceived by the buyer. If you like it and it costs 10-20% of the gen then go for it. It’s unlikely you’ll ever be called out. I have seen better reps, of say a Submariner or a LMPO, but if you’re happy with it that’s all that counts.
