Watch Repair UK

dwswatches

Question

Hi, can anyone recommend anyone who will repair my rep Day-Date in the UK?

I have bought many watches from Trusty Time, and have never had any issues, but this Day-Date had to be sent back as the stem came off. I have just had it returned, pulled the stem out carefully to move the hands, but they wouldn’t move. Then the stem came off again! I don’t want to waste more money paying for it to be returned, and I also don’t want to waste more time having to wait for it to be repaired.

I have bought, properly without exaggerating, about 1,000 + watches over the years, but I find a couple of issues now with the reps. Firstly there never seems enough links on the bracelets, and I only have standard wrists, and secondly the stems seem poor quality. I own an AFR and DRF Datejusts, and the stems seem to be weak on them too.
