First rep:: iwc ss zf pilot chrono 5810

Recommended Posts

Hello, this is my first post and also my first watch so questions may be extremely newbie and i'm sorry about that or any violation of rules.. I am a big time forums user so I hope i'm not  breaking any rules
Here it is: https://imgur.com/a/78zKoAc

I just have received my zf iwc chorno, an a7750 type watch. I have never owned any watches before.

Some basic questions I have are: How do I change the date and time? I already messed around with the buttons and believe it was prewind up already since I can't turn the rotor "middle wheel" but it has stopped overnight . I just messed around with the buttons and/or gave it a hard hit on my palm and it started running again. How do I go about changing the time?

  1. What are each of the smaller wheels for? How and do I adjust them?
  2. What exactly are the 3 buttons for? Judging from playing with it when I was trying to start the watch again (minor clicks), the top button stops the whole watch and the middle button is the wind up and give it battery time (kinda like gas for a car). Am I correct? What about the button buttons?
  3. And most importantly, what kinda service must I do or is recommended for it and where should I go? As for basic servicing, isn't there some of polishing that is recommended? As internal servicing, I heard hit/miss stories with big time retailers and also stay away from street watch handlers as they can mess it up..
