I think it is fake, and it [censored] me off the asking price, no cool. But I can be wrong.

Opinions ?

Cheers.

I think you are wrong. Dial looks good to me & seller is generally reliable.
As for the price, well, the usual vintage Rolex qualifier applies to vintage Tudor as well - today's crazy price will seem like a bargain this time next year. & with so many financial types having seen the inflation writing on the wall for the past year, demand for good, vintage Tudor pieces has outstripped supply. Appropriate accordingly.

"...today's crazy price will seem like a bargain this time next year."

Sad but true.

That is about half of what my relatively low mileage 2007 SUV is worth...with a full tank of gas.

Otoh, it pays to shop around, I gave $20 for this genuine ETA Toot dial (excuse the fuzzy pic).

Good day gang !

Well, yes and no.

Yes:
The print looks legit
The seller "generally speaking" is a good one
The plots of puffy Lume looks ok.

Maybe no:
Tudor dials "generally speaking" don't have Beyern or otherwise Rolex marks
Never ever in my life seen a Tudor with four lines horizontal

And yes again... Prices are as we know , crazy.

It is good to chat and discuss and learn as muchs as we can !

Hope y'all are doing well !

Cheers.

I just found the same dial for sale on Chrono24, which is a respected German watch website that provides buyer protection.
Here is the link on Chrono24

The genuine Tudor dial pictured in my post above has a small Tudor shield emblem stamped on the back of the dial with the letters LP stamped under the shield...they do not appear to be engraved.  I can post a picture if needed.

Do not know what LP stands for though.

LP - Le Prelet made dials for Tudor

Founded in 1895 by Kossuth Calame, MOM Le Prélet specializes in the decoration of enamel dials in La Chaux-de-Fonds. 'Le Prélet' is a location in the village of Les Geneveys-sur-Coffrane where the company established its headquarters in 1918.

Thank you.

Just to make sure I say this, my intention is to learn and not to say bad things about the seller.

Yes, that seller is in there and I have seen dials from them.

I have seen quite a few samples of dials in my life but never a Tudor with Rolex related factories stamp, that is part of my surprise. Also, the horizontal four liners.

Thank you for the reference to LP. Indeed that they were related.

:-)
