FxrAndy
Sounds like a keyless works problem, Ie when you pull the crown it is not moving the gears (clutch wheel i thing is its correct name) in to position to move the hands, not dead hard to fix if the spring bar that sits in the works has not broken but requires the works to be removed, hands and dial off to get to that area to check it and fix it. I have done it once, have a go if you feel adventurous.
sssurfer
Definitely the stem should not came out unless you unscrew a little the screw that keeps it firm. It seems like that little screw threads went ruined and the screw is always unscrewed (even if it looks as you can only tighten it -- can you tighten it endlessly?). And yes, that may prevent the stem from properly engaging the keyless work. I'm afraid it is a tricky issue to fix so to qualify the watch for a replacement from the dealer. sssurfer
So the set screw was simply fully unscrewed, turning it all the way in, then out two turns, worked. Very good!
