I did come across a gen dealer with a seven month lay away and a discount from $5,900 to $3,900. I was tempted, but it was still just way too much for me. A 1911 I purchased in 1988 still looks fantastic. Wish I owned a camera to show you. Flav, can quartz hands be modified to be made larger? Ebel had claimed it would not work on my 1911.
