One gentleman was checking his time today as I glanced over and noticed the trademark look of the Breit Navitimer. I spoke with the man for a few minutes, and then asked him "Is that a Navitimer"? After he said "What!!!" about three times, (He was hard of hearing) He said "What, this? It's a fake!" We talked a bit more and he revealed his son was an airline pilot and had picked it up from somewhere overseas. He said "It keeps great time, but none of this other stuff works". I looked a bit closer, and typical Asian non-chrono functioning timepiece was on his wrist. He wore it with pride, because it was a gift from his Son. Rather than pointing out more flaws and trying to introduce He and his Son to Jetmid, I simply said "Wear it well". I'm sure he will, I'm certain.
