KB Posted June 21, 2006 Report Share Posted June 21, 2006 I would suggest to use a couple of drops of super glue to fix it, however I'm not a tehnical type of guy so thats off the top of my head you will need to check with someone who knows wether that would be safe to try. Cyanoacrylate should be avoided at all costs on movements as the fumes are effective as a glue. edit: cyanoacrylate is superglue, by the way ... No I wouldn't want CA fumes floating around inside my watch That's why I was thinking about removing the foil. Maybe someday I'll learn to service my own mov'ts and may try some engine turning on watch plates. I've done some on other stuff and it turned out pretty good although nothing as small as a watch mov't... Funny, Côtes de Genève is something I try to avoid with my machining projects I had always heard it referred to as "machining marks" until I got into watches Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
