AP ROO Secs@12

I've been eyeballing this new AP ROO for some time now and i'm really curious for the long time quality check. How does it hold out when it's worn a lot... i the movement still running fine, the chrono without probs, pushers, tube/crown, screws of bracelet etc...

I'd love to hear you stories guys! Not only the bad ones, but also the good one

I must also say that i'm amazed with the low number of posts concerning upgrades for the AP ROO. So who is doing superlume, who has sent the crystal off to Chieftang, thightening the screws?

i got my rubber clad from Silix, for $450, i LOVE this watch BIG TIME

i'd like to chieftang it, but i'm so worried about screwing up the rubber bezel when taking off the crystal

If I recall correctly, the gen does not have AR.

As an interesting side note, it turns out that the gen does not have a solid rubber bezel either- it too is rubber coated, as per the AP catalog for 2008.

I don't give a crap about the gen and AR i want it to rock the hizous. and i kind of figured the gen was rubber coated as well, it just makes sense.

...yes...the rubberbezel is just coated (of course)...but there is a huge difference between 0.5mm and 0.01mm

mines good - silix, says he is not drop shipping them and inspects them before they go out -

true? not sure - but with a decent failure rate on a new movement, its definatly good business practice rather than ad 40$ into the cost of the watch in sent a nd return shipping
