chefcook
Heyho, I am currently thinking of building a military submariner, but all milsubs I've found have actually quite bad hands - especially the minute hand is completely wrong on the reps. I was thinking of buying aftermarket sword style hands for a Rolex 1520 movement, but how much is the size difference between an asian 21.6k bph or an ETA movement's hand sizes and the Rolex 1520? Am I right, that the 1520 used smaller diameters so that the can be honed out to fit an asian or ETA movement? Thanks a lot, M.
Heywood
You can buy mil sub hands for ETA and Seiko movements at MkII watches that look pretty good to me. Check them out here-MkII watches mil sub hands The hand sizes for the 1520 are 80/130/20, ETA are 90/150/25, not sure about the asian movement.
