Based on the one I got, apparently it is quite difficult.

Sorry for the confusion regarding this thread of mine.

Initially I posted a pic of gen PAM 187 and comparing with rep from trusytime, perfectclones, precioustime and eddielee

But I thought it's not ethical to do it so I took the pics off

I found it's still too hard to rep the PAM 187..

the reps I see , doesn't seem good enuff imho

here are 2 gen pics, the way I see it the markers on gen is white, but the reps are just too green???

plus the hands on the reps aint just similar to gen ones

Gen = $10000

Rep = $300

Eddy

same goes with the rolex daytona black red 2005 model

gen = $20,000

rep = $298 ish

But quality wise, is very similar rep to the gen

whereas for PAM 187, the rep is just not have near similarities nonetheless

which means... daytona black red 2005 = good rep attempt , pam 187= not so good rep attempt :D

Come on.... you can´t compare these two.

It took them YEARS to make Daytonas like the ones we have today.

The 187 is relatively on the market. Few months since it first showed up.

You're not actually comparing the quality of a Asian 7750 movt Daytona to the gen Daytona's quality are you and saying they are similar?

Eddy

no I'm not

www watch said up there answers it.

I meant appearance wise not quality wise, let me rephrase that lol

thanks for the comments anyway guys

I think i trade my gen rollies for a gen pam 187

I would definitely say the 187 (Watchhonpo's version, have not seen EL's version in person) is a darn good rep. As discussed before, the visible differences:

1) Illume. Illume markers on rep too thick; After getting a relume service by The Zigmeister, it looks damn close to the real deal. Markers that holds the illume still too thick but not as visible.

2) The bezel markers. The bezel markers sit slightly higher than the gen. The gen. looks flatter.

3) The '1000' looks blue-ish in colour in the gen than rep.

4) The chrono pushers screws too deep in on rep. In the gen, the threading of the pushers are not visible. The finish of the pushers are sharper on gen.

5) AR coating on rep slightly too thick. Gen AR coating can only be seen at certain angles.

6) Subdials are not as recessed as reps.

Off the the top of my head, these of are some of the differences. It is a damn good rep. The weight is there. A few glances would be hard to differentiate whether it is a rep (for watchhonpo's version), more so if you have the relume done.

Holy crap what a complainer. Go and make you own rep if you don't like it. I say it is a great rep.

For that matter is it as awesome rep.

that is so true...and BTW seems that after more than 3 weeks my 187 has reached the customs...soon I'll have it in my hands and then I will tell you for sure that is a great watch...
