Take crappy rep strap and remove it from watch. 2. Beat it with a meat tenderizer for about 15 minutes. 3. Twist the living daylights out of it until it starts to crack. 4. Sand it with 150g sand paper, making sure to scrub all of the paint off. 5. Boil it in saturated salt water for 10 minutes. 6. Sand lightly with 400g paper to give it a smooth finish. 7. Flash boil it again in fresh salt saturated water for 5 minutes. 8. Blow dry it until its hot once out of water. 9. Remove crappy stitching and re sew it with color of choice by hand. (Make sure you wear a thimble.) 10. Use some fine mink oil to make it look nice and good. Congratulations, you've just spent 4 to 6 hours making a bad strap look excellent and feel soft and smooth to the touch. You've just saved a ton of money! Cheers, H!
