"He" valve also appears too low on the first. Is the second a 45.5mm w/ 20mm lugs? Hopefully these get nabbed or someone is going to be [censored]! KB
The second one the seller actually admits that it is a copy and the bid is still over $700 US Ken
cwai02
well, it looks like ebay is not going to pull the first auction.
Bignasty
Yeah I've learned that Ebay doesn't always pull them. There are people out there that are just going to get screwed. Sucks but I guess thats part of the game. Some bad ones sneak through every now and then. I reported several shady Rolex listings a few weeks ago. All of which still sold for around $2000. Imagine paying $2000 for a rep and not knowing it. You have it for 2-3 years and send it in for service to realize its been a fake all along. I'm glad I now know what I know about reps and gen watches! Jon
Alextor
I contacted the seller and asked for a better picture of the caseback and for the serial number... This is what he replied: Hi, thank you for your interest The serial number is on the strap next to the lug and it 98000085. Serial numbers on the STRAP....how'bout'dat? Cheers Alex Yeah I've learned that Ebay doesn't always pull them. There are people out there that are just going to get screwed. Sucks but I guess thats part of the game. warburg
If you look at the feedback of the supposed buyer of the first Seamaster and clck on his last two successful bids before this, you will see that he doesn't actually buy these watches. There are fake buys as well as fake sells on Ebay!
