  • 4 weeks later...

I can strongly recomend Domenico.

Thank you so much for the work you did on my 212!

It keeps time now spot on and even beats most of my COSC gens.

I am afraid I cannot tell you what he did and what I paid for it, because doing this might have two results:

1.) Domenico won't have time for my watches anymore as he well be overrun (if he isn't already)

2.) he will face bankruptcy sooner or later

:p;):)

Domi is really the best! I received my watch serviced and the datewheel repaired. I also noticed that the power reserve increased thank to Domenico.

He responded to many many e-mails kindly and promptly. I would also like to thank the guy that introduced Domi to this excellent forum.

Domi is not just a "watchmaker". He is an engineer.

Can Domi have AR "entspiegelt" added to a watch glass?

he can get AR - but i think its "optical - greenish - not blue like on most gens"

its your personal taste if you like it - the AR will be much better than stock AR .....

cheers,

Frank

Another very happy customer here.

Repair of a Carrera Chrono and waterproofing. Previous to Domi looking at it, it was gaining about 1 min / day, now it keeps great time (seems to be < 20 sec / week). It also makes much less noise, the datewheel looks better for some reason (!) and it looks and feels like an altogether healthier watch.

He's fast, exceptionally polite and maintains communication well (even sent pictures of the thing disassembled, as well as the damaged parts of the movement). All in all, a pleasure to deal with, and clearly a master of his craft.
