Watchsmiths in Norway?

I am waiting for my SMP 300M Red Dial. And I am wondering if there is any rep friendly smiths in Norway?

The Omega is going in my permanent collection so I would like to service it and keep it running "indefinitly" Also prices if you have any service spots :)

Did a search and there is not much information about my homecountry regarding this.

Thanks guys!!

Well. Since it is only walk ins at this place I cannot use it. I live outside of Stavanger, so if anyone knows about someone in the vicinity that would be "flott"

Yes I am also interested. Hilsen fra en nordmann til :)

The only weatchsmith I found in Storgata is this one:

Johansons Max Eftf AS

Storgata 10 A inng. Skipperg., 0155 Oslo

Is it perhaps that simple?

OK. I will check if the watchsmith my friend used is the closed one or the still open one. Give me a couple of days, my friend is not at this forum.

I can't access that link - it gets blocked malware?

On a search I cannot find any watch store in storgata 14 either?

Regards

Thomas

Adjust your security settings in browser or viruscontroller. Or send me your email and I will mail you the picture. Or go down there and you will fint the shop.

I can assure you the shop was there last week :cc_detective:

  • 1 year later...

...not really I guess, but hes prone to answer "no" rather than "maybe" - its not "optimal" to deal with him.

On the other hand, he has dis- and re-assembled two pannies for me (because of pvd treatment), changed pannie dial/hands twice and fixed a dead DSN pannie once (well now its dead again so soon it will be twice).

His name is Bjerke, shop in Torshov. He sure as Hell is better than nothing. I dont know wether hed accept omega or rolex work - I dont think he knows about Panerai, so I dont know his policy on fakes...

(What? Doesnt know about Panerai?? To foreigners reading this - we Norwegians are a bunch of ignorant peasants:-)

ASCIWhite:

if you are still looking for a watchsmith. There is a rep-friendly watch smith in Stavanger, Østervåg. The watch maker is probably in his seventies. A nice guy, but it takes a long turnaroundtime.

Quite a vintage storefront... :) He still has a couple of leftover NOS 80-90ties quartz watches on display. I remember those from my childhood.
