Samurai Posted March 23, 2009 Report Posted March 23, 2009 The back of the watch is incorrect .... not referring to the 28.8K movement.....but the case on both ends (where it joins with the strap) should have the material list marking ...like Ceramic and Stainless Steel engraved on it. This is the first HBB I have seen which is missing this.....even the lite version has it. Wonder if this is from some new factory.

Guest hublot1 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 On the ones from Sead they are all missing the H logo and no micro regulator. The newer 21.6bvp versions have them now. However 28.8bvp seems to me closer to gen.

cca7083 Posted April 1, 2009 Report Posted April 1, 2009 looks good! to me. in any case, i don't think people will ask you to take off your watch and look at the movement, more so look at some of the missing elements such as the H and the saw tooth joint for hte rotor. Although the engraving looks pretty good. not as thick as the other cartel ultimate versions.

In addition they never saw a gen before so needless to say that 99.9% of everyone I meet have no clue how to spot a rep vs. a gen looking for a sunken date wheel, missing micro regulator, saw teeth, 28.8 vs. 21 movement...etc While on vacation I walked into a AD and the salesman just froze when he saw my wrist and immediately the service was top notch. This to say that NOBODY knows the difference except yourself or if you are a die hard geek who is a regular on this forum...Everyone I meet say WOW nice freaking watch!!!
