dadog13
I thought that the language barrier with Dmuit was not a problem since his son speaks fluent english?! he was the only one in EU that I heard was offering this service....
pauld
Spoken with Domenico who is a very friendly guy! he is willing and able to do my mods, so all is well!! Nice to be able to send my watch for mods without worrying about customs seizures etc.

pauld
Yes, thats the price he has quoted......90 euros. Like you say, it's a complete disassemblely, graphite and rebuild. I think thats a good investment if the watch is a keeper.

Guest avitt
I think that most people who have thought about offering this service, both in the US and abroad, have changed their minds after performing the mod a few times. These watches are notoriously difficult to work on, and it's just a matter of time before you damage hands or a dial.... That's one of the reasons why I currently have a post in the "Wanted" section, looking for a used or broken Porto Chrono. I need a few parts to fix one that I damaged by modifying...
