A few years ago i could have swore there was a write up by 1 member with photos about the vintage seamaster cosmic 2000 diver, but cant find it.

Ive just pulled the trigger on one, a year 1978 and its looks excellent. Anybody any idea or own one to let me know if its the right thing ive done. Cheers.

The Cosmic 2000 60m/200ft. is a great desk diver. If I recall correctly 38mm with a screw down crown. I have about 3 different models but only one with the 60m.

I think they are powered by a 1012 movement. WARNING, this Omega case requires an Omega case tool for the 3 piece case and will not come apart easily. You can't even get the crystal off without one.

The Chuck Maddox site has information on them.

Congrats on a fine watch!
