baglc1 Posted June 12, 2009 Report Share Posted June 12, 2009 A few years ago i could have swore there was a write up by 1 member with photos about the vintage seamaster cosmic 2000 diver, but cant find it. Ive just pulled the trigger on one, a year 1978 and its looks excellent. Anybody any idea or own one to let me know if its the right thing ive done. Cheers. Jimster Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 The Cosmic 2000 60m/200ft. is a great desk diver. If I recall correctly 38mm with a screw down crown. I have about 3 different models but only one with the 60m. I think they are powered by a 1012 movement. WARNING, this Omega case requires an Omega case tool for the 3 piece case and will not come apart easily. You can't even get the crystal off without one.
