I got my wife a white one from River. The watch is awesome. The links are solid ceramic. You could see that when you resize the bracelet. The crown screws down and the watch is water resistant. My wife needed a quartz watch b/c she wants to set it and forget it, and she needed one that is water resistant b/c she washes her hands a lot as an ob/gyn. She's up to her elbows in moist stuff if you catch my drift. She loves the watch. It's very unique and hip. It's not pretentious like the standard issue Rolex datejust with diamond dial that many female doctors have. She's gotten a ton of compliments about it. Minor flaws don't matter much in this watch as it is very rare.
