A buddy of mine has been trying to get me to order something from this guy. He's ordered (4) watches so far; 3 rollies and a breit.
Looks to be canal st quality IMHO. I've only seen one of his watches, a TT daytona. The large second hand sweeping if you know what I mean.............

Yes it's a good shot. But for indoor basketball in low-medium light; I found that my kodak P850 struggled to get good shots. I tweaked the settings as far as they would go in shutter priority mode. Without the ability of true continuous shooting, I had to make every shot count. SLR shooting makes this process so much easier. Outdoors in sunlight is easy with any halfway decent camera. I like having the choice.
Yeah, those are good reco's for portraits and macro shots of my watch collection. I will surely pick up one of those lenses. My main reason for getting into SLR's was for sports.
What does canon make in 2.8 at 200-400mm?
Hey folks, I just added a new camera to the line up. I picked up that olympus E- 500 over the weekend. They had one marked down to $549 with the 2 lense kit. Had to get it....................sorry.
I still plan on picking up that Rebel XTI kit in June.
Will post some pics later...........
Thanks fellas. The oly camera w/2 lenses in actually $650 before the rape of taxes and warranties or $580 open box. I decided to wait. Some new deal ran in today's paper.
The 30D is on sale and so is the D80. The D40x is still on pre-order. I just thought the oly was such a value at the price with two lenses and card for roughly $700. I just might do a few extra gigs and get the Nikon D200, f@%k it!
I can keep shooting a little longer with the advanced point and shoot that I have. I'm getting decent results;

Thanks again........
Does anyone shoot with the Olympus E500?
I have heard good things and have read some very good reviews on it. I just wanted some practical opinions.
It seems to be an unbelievable at under $800 bucks with two lenses at www.circuitcity.com and www.bestbuy.com
Appreciate any input. Thanks.
