@itreeman Just do something with your datewheel and you're gonna be ok. And if you open the watch and remove the movement, just take off that excess red paint from the GMT arrow with a toothpick. Support the GMT hand underneath while doing this, you don't want to bend it. You need a loupe to do this job well.

...i agree with the "to educate himself" part. As for the "...and others" i'm really curious to see how many of the thousands RWG members are intended to spend another $600 or more to put some genuine parts on a (good looking already) fake watch. A poll would enlighten us

half true sir. I bought in the past an insert for the Omega Seamaster 300m pro and received it after a long fight AND time, just to see that it was a total sh** and the pearl was off-centered . He refused to replace it when asked for it and he claimed that that insert was same like the original. The sh** insert was delivered within 8 days after i opened a PayPal dispute. That means that i waited for the initial package 40 days to arrive and, it never did in the 1st place. @forum: i'd suggest that when some people recommend in this forum an ebay seller, first make sure that the seller is 100% reliable. Seller being RELIABLE and packages LOST from time to time while in transit are 2 DIFFERENT THINGS. We are not talking about replicas here which is an ILLEGAL business and some troubles should be expected and understood We are talking about an ebay seller who sells aftermarket parts and advertises them as genuine replacement parts. That's a LEGAL business which should be valued as a legal business. At least ebay marked him as legal since they marked him as a PowerSeller which is a title that attracts buyers !!! That ebay seller scams whenever he has the good chances to do it Period.

Stephane , no matter if other members eventually got what they paid for, this seller is totally UNRELIABLE. If you want to gamble your money with a 50-50 percentage to receive exactly what your ordered (or just not receive it at all), then go ahead.

I was talking about the lack of the numbering on the sticker. Not about the lack of sticker. Anyway it's very clear to me that these watches although genuine had some "franken" work on them. E.g. the second one was supposed to be a SEL model while it didn't had SEL bracelet but it had a pre-2000 bracelet on it. And the whole idea of posting this wasn't that the watches are not Genuine. It was that these sellers don't mention that some parts of the watches were replaced by parts of earlier models and-or they did install aftermarket stickers on them just to make the show. Why should i trust sellers like them? What makes me sure that if i open the caseback i'll find a 3135 in there? Well i guess that i will do find a 3135 indeed, but anyway ...

...you don't have to move the screw on this movement...I believe that that screw secures the part on the movement's "body". (i am not good in horological terms). You move the arm that 316L has circled in the picture. Just move it counterclockwise just a bit at a time, close the caseback, sync your watch with an accurate source and let the it run for a few hours (i usually leave them run for a day and check again). If it's still fast repeat the procedure till you get satisfied results. I'd recommend during the adjusting period you make this watch your everyday wear. Adjusting for "wrist" time had the best results to all of my watches. P.S. ask some expert like The Zigmeister what exactly was the screw that you moved (although i'm almost sure it's a screw for securing the part and not for adjustement).

You didn't clarify what movement/hand stack gmt you have so i don't know if it really works for you... But if it does the explanation is simple: Bastardized movement (as The Zigmeister says) with its own habits :p

...and one clarification lukes that maybe i didn't do in the first place... I don't think that Rolex ever produced yellow markers on DRSD. I mentioned the Mark IV DRSD just to show you that some tritium dials could result (aging) in a such a yellowish appearance of the markers/hands, like the "budget" DRSD rep has... I've seen other aged DRSDs that suffer from serious dial wear but still the tritium markers have a cream appearance instead of yellow. So, as TTK says and couldn't agree more -> we "will never fool a real Rolex W.I.S." but we can fool almost any other (including ourselves )

It is. 1. pull out the crown at position 2 (this is the position that you can adjust the date and GMT time). 2. adjust your GMT hand to where you want it to be. 3. turn slowly the crown to the opposite direction like you'd do if you wanted to change the date. 4. turn until you see that the date is moving to change THEN stop. Don't change the date really - you didn't want this in the first place right? 5. push the crown to position 1 and then screw it in. 6. Wear your watch. 7. Enjoy your GMT hand working. (9. Do the trick above every time you change the GMT hour setting.) and lastly, i guess that you have the ETA explorer II with the "wrong" hand stack. If not i don't know if the above works for you as i didn't ever own the "correct" GMT hand stack. cheers.

What i was trying to tell you is that TTK's pics don't help to judge the bezel thickness because he didn't shoot a picture from an angle that shows the bezel from the sides

@lukes dunno if the budget rep's "yellow" is easily noticeable as wrong or not. Judging from the cats' budget DRSD (from Narikaa) i can say that it looks very "luminova surfaced" at least. I mean it's not so grainy like the tritium was...(although the pic is far taken). That may be a point of "failure" by means that it could be spotted from a Rolex forum user/collector. But i'd give it a try... @316L You can't see the bezel thickness from TTk's pics (angle matter). But i wouldn't expect perfection at this price...Maybe i'm lucky enough to photo it if i get one...

I thought the same. Nevertheless there had been at least 5 versions of the DRSD dial in production which had variations on the dial writings and-or the lume material of the markers/hands. Check here a genuine "too yellow" dial reported as Mark (or version) IV: and here another one "whiter" dial reported as Mark V. chronus i'm in for a meeting, some discussion, a beer or a gin & tonic maybe, possibly for a lunch...I will not be able to bring a "stack" of watches with me though. I have some of them dissasembled because i try to do some mods on 'em and this time i also experiment with a software timing application which doesn't seem to work very well and i'm exchanging emails back and forth with the seller to make it work!
