  1. Watch is WAY to complicated to be made. It is not just a Tourbillon complications (this is the big one) it is also the 30's chrono complication. The birght side is there is not sunken date wheel.
  2. Damn! There was a fold out section in IW Magazine a few months back that had every Panerai movement, what its complications were and what watch it was in...knew I should not have thrown that out!
  3. I assume this would go for a 089 as well???
  4. I don't know if they ever came from ETA like this. Typically this is a mod done by a watch company, like Graham and others. I don't know why Graham even does it and does not use the ETA7753...Heck for what they charge for their pieces, they should.
  5. Technically speaking there is no 19 Jewel 7750...This is a modification done to move the 12 sub dial to 3 when the more expensive 7753 movement is not used...so you get a couple extra jewels. This is why you get the sunken date wheel. Companies like Graham do this modification on their watches instead of using the ETA 7753. This movement will not work on the Daytona models with running seconds @6. The subials on these are too far from center and have the seconds running @9. The Daytona uses a module that not only moves all the subdials around, but also moves them closer to center like the gens.
  6. Older 17 Jewel 7750 ETA movement. Not the 25 jewel movement.
  7. Giddy up BT! This piece also looks great on a crco strap. Tones down the bling factor nicely. I was never a big fan of the roman numerals on a watch, until Breitling released this model. I like how they wrap around with the dial. I agree, the DW on the black dial models looks less sunken. The only thing I see is the "-" on top and below the roman numerals seems a little too thick. Also all the printed lines seem a little on the thicker side. Some thing you would never notice unless you held it next to the Gen. Post some pics when you get it.
  8. What about having the dial stripped and reprinted, given they have the dies? I think typically it is only $20-$50. You would probably need to have it lumes again.
  9. Just remove the Day Wheel. All 7750's are Day/Date...just depends if the day wheel is there or not.
  10. Your AD is blowing smoke up your [censored]. They pull that when they want to get you for full MSRP. Still the sexiest B01
  11. No disrespect to your jeweler, but the only real way to guarantee it is authentic is if they are a AD. I have seen reputable dealers have rep straps that they thought were the real deal.
  12. As much as I dislike the "Tron" numerals and massive pearl, seeing both this blue/black and blue/cream in person has me wanting one! This blue/black looks great on the Pro Diver II.
  13. I would not. The mesh looks great on some watches like the SOH because it follows the other design elements of the watch. There are just none of those elements in the Skyland or Avenger.
  14. $1800-$2400 in used great condition w/ box & papers, some time cheaper. A AD willing to give you a deal you can get them for $2700-$2800 new. Is this the Black Face or Grey face? Kind of hard to tell from your pics. If it is the grey face and you want to part with it, shoot me a PM.
  15. Put my SOH mesh braclet on my SA. Stayed on it for about 3 seconds as I could not get it off fast enough. Just did not look right.
  16. Both my AP ROO have the center geared jeweled. As Franciso said, friction is not the issue. The makers should have really have reversed how they ran the seconds to 12 and minutes to 9. They should have had the minutes move through the center gear and not the seconds. Since the seconds run all the time, they really need to transfer through the least amount of gears as possible.
  17. PM BlackBard, he might be able to help you out.
  18. I dont get what a AD would do with a serial number? It is not like they have access to Breitlings database where they could cross ref. the serial to the model, year sold etc. The only thing I can figure would be to cross ref. the model to the bracelet/strap size you would need. If you want a strap, just go to a AD and tell them the size. If they ask for a serial number tell them you have a Omega or some thing and you prefer Breitling straps. They hae no reason to turn you away. Welcome. You guys get the shaft across the pond on prices, swag and all things related to Breilting.
  19. Not may AD, as they do not deal in PAM's. This is a watch dealer that I deal with and he shows me exactly what the sellers are asking for them. Even the ones you posted here more then their original price. Regardless, thanks for the tip. Never seen that site before as I try not to by watches online for obvious reasons...Looks like I found my 089.
  20. The Pam's I have looked at (Anthracite Dials) were almost double their value new. The latest one was a 089. My dealer found me one...almost $9100!!! Damn thing was only $4500 6 years ago brand new! The other was a Pam 086 that my dealer bought for himself since I did not want it...$6600! I was told they were only about $3500 new almost 10 years ago! The used resale value and a lot of high end watches tend to plateau out. Used Panerais have done well.
  21. Breguets are very rich in history! Come on, Breguet invented the Tourbillion, which is still one of the most sought after complications in the history of watches. They have more history and innovation than any of the other brands you are considering. Plain and simple Louis Breguet was a watch genius. They tend to be more classy and dressier pieces then being able to pass with a business suit or jeans & t-shirt. They retain their value or increase. The big issue is, their customer service down right sucks! Not to mention a 39mm time piece is a little on the small side for someone as tall as you
  22. Nice! Man that looks good! Just have a heard time putting anything but a braclet on a SA thought. To me, becasue the head is so big, it just looks like it will fall of the strap.
  23. Correct. As long as the leather is not too thick, you can make the Pro Diver strap work I would think. I guess, what kind of strap do you have? Leather or rubber?
