  1. B&M's are one of the best out of the box reps! Surprised there are not more around here. AR is outstanding as you can see. Great piece, just did not wear it much, so it went to a great guy! Love your Avatar!
  2. Glad you are enjoying it my friend! See you still have not put a crystal on it!
  3. Price list $650 for a Gen Ocean Classic. Should be able to pull 10-15% off from a AD. For some reason the Aero Classic is $50 more and it is the same bracelet.
  4. Could not agree more! That is what lead me to having to get one! The piece just is pure class! The rubber strap is just awesome! Comfortable and ands a nice touch to the piece. Can be worn as dress or sport!
  5. I can shot some pics of the 2 dials I have when I get home tonight. One is sec. @6 the other sec @9. will get you measurements as well. To Toads comment, there is a seller on eBay that comes from time to time that has the sec @6 movements. From your pic, it looks like a tricompax movement would work.
  6. You can not swap the running Sec. @6 movement with a A7750/7753 tircompax. The subdials are closed to center then the tricompax. I tried once upon a time when first getting into the rep world.
  7. Love this shot Lani. Almost looks like you shot it in b&w!
  8. Welcome! Is it me or does it appear that the screw head has sheared off and the screw body is still inside the bezel? Usually a Easy-out does the trick to remove screws, but I can not say I have ever seen one small enough to a sscrew this size. I know there is a watch markers tool that is used to remove broken screws from movement bridges, but don't know if that will help here. You might want to try a fine tip carbid dremel bit and score a slot in it, that way you can use a screwdriver to extract it. Regardless, best of luck!
  9. I still prefer my method of winding watches. 1 Case of Red Bull (Jager optional), 2 glow sticks (1 in each hand) and some Techno music!
  10. Guess we know who does the laundry in your house.
  11. So in the pursuit to create the perfect Tantalum looking Pam's, I contacted one of my metal supplier shops for some actual Tantalum. The smallest plate I could buy, was 1" X 12" X 24" which weighs in at 173lbs. goes for the bargain basement price of $10,360! Anyone want to make a donation?
  12. Not with a truly functional movement. Would be a great thing though!
  13. If you believe "The Rep was made using a Gen", then yes, you would think they have a box, given they got the Gen. brand new from a AD and did not borrow it. Keep in mind too, then Gen Box is wood which does not allow for a quick rapid tool to be created to turn out plastic boxes.
  14. This is going to be fun! Now just need a sexy lab assistant!
  15. Whooohooo...now you are talking my language! Nicely done! What kind of lathe is that? Been looking at getting a bench top one for home to do work like this.
  16. Breilting needs to do a SOSF GMT again. They did a couple years back in the LE of 300.
  17. It is, but they should be able to over come that as they did on the POC.
  18. I don't think this is a new Breitling model. This is for their new rubber stap that fits the GMT+. As the GMT+ has a integrated bracelet, no rubber strap was available from Breitling that would fit it.
  19. We can both put money on it that someone will do it.
  20. Mount a gen Bracelet to it? Don’t get why someone would spend $1400 on a Gen bracelet for a rep.
