  1. Anything above 35 USD is insane fot that strap.
  2. Many thanks for the info By-Tor. Conclusion: another watch to avoid.
  3. Thanks Freddy and no prob. Im doing this OK. Anticlock the day , clock wise the date. Most propably is what you are saying (date wheel has dislodged itself from the track). Day is changing OK and watch is running godd. Removing dial and hands to fixd it is not something that I ever did before . .... and I am not going to try it on this one.
  4. ..... I also posting this here since not so many members are looking in to repair section (sorry for the double post). Heed your help and advise guys. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...t=0#entry465145 Thanks
  5. Hi Guys I just received a watch (second hand) with valjoux 7750. Everything OK ..... but that date has stacked and does not turn (neither on position 1 nor on position 2 of the crown) ....and yes I was cautious not to try it within the "prohibited" period and of course didn't forced it. The Day though changes normally. Movement seems to run OK too. So here are my questions: - Does it sound like a easy fix ??? and if yes do you know anybody in EU that can do it for me ??? (paid of course) - If I let the watch running ... could this damage the movement when date / day was meant to change (midnight) ???

    Bad day

I feel your anger. 10 days a go I had an IWC (rep) missing from my mailbox. Most likely stolen.
  7. No ... I am not always receiving defective watches ..... but I do receive many (3 out 5) .......and for sure I am complaining more than others when I receive them. On the registered .....and the few extra pennies: In act you fact the guy paid even more. Watch was send urgent, insurred and trackable (for the urgency only)....... but for some strange reason, all these extra options did'nt required the parcel to be delivered in person and upon signature (???!!!). Maybe just lack of experience ... may be just bad luck. Anyway ... resolution is still pending.
  8. In my case is even worse .... this watch doesn't want me. There must be something like a bad Karma between me and the watch. Not only I had 3 defective ones (which of course all went back to the dealer/s) ..... but I one that I bought recently from another member here .... was send unregstered and it was either lost or stolen. ..... prefer not to talk about it ... but maybe I will have to.
  9. Agree , .... just restrict accesibility to the Sales Forum to Supporters only.
  10. Hang on a minute ..... How often we gonna run in to this situation (run out of money for servers monthly fee) ??? I have donated in the past ... and will do it again now. I want as much as other supporters
  11. All defectives that I got were high beat rate.
  12. We can't see or find sales topics completed. Admin and mods can though.
  13. Excellent write up. I like that "It's afreaking rep - Drown it"
  14. OK ... who is going to get it first and write a review ??? (mi , no !!)
  15. During the last 2,5 years I have ordered 3, 2893-2 modified with correct hand stack (was RX EXP IIs) ..... all three was send back. Completely useless. I guess if the watch is properly serviced and adjusted by a professional watchmaker could make a difference.
  16. On the details specs Josh says: - Swiss eta 2836-2 modified:
  17. Nice.... bust still has that "lighter" attached to it Well I guess Graham lovers will love it and they will jumb all over it.
  18. I would also guess that the rep strap is not "Dust-Repelling" , right ??? I have the gen ... amd the gen is andi-dust.
  19. I still wear by black seal, 029 and 188. Will fully regain the fever when and if new models come out (which I do not forsee in the near future).
  20. I would like to know that too. Never bought from him (obvious difficulties) but used as a referrence.
  21. IMO ... I thought it was well known and clear to almost everybody that when dealers saying ETA or Valjoux .. they really mean Asian clone of .....and when they saying Swiss or True Swiss ETA or Valjoux they mean Swiss and they should deliver a Swiss movement. Normally if the sell a "true Swiss" you can tell from the price (significantly higher). If they say true Swiss and they price it as such ...and what you receive is an Asia clone of .... then you have all the rights to send it back and ask for refund. If they say Swiss and they price it at normal prices .... you better confirm this again with them cause most propably you will receive an Asia clone of.
  22. Thank all guys. I didn't knew aboy www.watchmaterial.com. Good info @ajoesmith: have you tried your green bezel as snaped in on modern MBW LV subs ??? (oe somebody else has ??)
